Default Power Window Issue

My right window stopped working from the driver's door. It still works from the passenger switch though. I checked the switch and get power out of it. There is also power where it comes out of the door and the wires don't stretch like they would if a wire was broken there. It also seems strange that if it were a broken wire that two would break at the same time and both be for the same thing. Short of jacking up the radiator cap and putting another truck under it, anyone have any ideas? I have considered running new wires, but haven't done that yet.

Pretty common for a wire to break where it runs through the door jamb and gets bent back and forth.

I agree, but where I have a question about that is the chances of two wires for the same thing being the only two that break? I know it is possible, but like I said, the wires don't stretch like they would if they were broke. One of these days I am going to tear into it again. I just found out last night my dome lights quit then the radio quit..... Guess I know what I am going to be doing today.........

Turns out the dome lights/radio problem was an easy fix and probably self induced. The IOD fuse was blown. I don't know how I did that, but it was a definite short by the looks of the fuse......

I have not looked at the window issue for a while. I probably won't do anything with it until I am back in Minnesota. I also have not figured out what is wrong with my cruise control either. The joys of an older truck..........
