Nothing yet. I found a place to take it to, but when my nephew hooked up to the trailer his brake controller said there was a short in the brakes. It took a bit to figure out which brake (3 axles) and by time we got it apart, looked for parts, and got it back together it was to late to try to go anywhere so we are going to try tomorrow. The place said they were not able to schedule it until next week, but they also said they would sneak it in in between other jobs if I can get it there.

Now the waiting begins. My truck is at a transmission shop. Hopefully it isn't too terrible expensive.

Got a call from the transmission shop. I was correct, the input shaft sheared the splines where it meets the drum. The shop is going to update a couple of things, but it should be right around $1300. I ain't happy about the price, but there is nothing I can do. Next spring I plan on replacing my truck so I didn't want to put much into it.
A word of warning to all you guys that run the stock input with upgraded power..... You will have this same problem. The question is, When? It depends on how much you tow, how much you play, and how much power you are making. It will happen, so be prepared..........

Well, I found out the damage was slightly different than I was told........

and.....

Anyhow, $1387.75 later I now have a rebuilt transmission. The guy figured as long as he had it apart he went ahead and put new clutches in, new seals, new snap rings, and upgraded some strut along with a few other pieces.

That was a hell of a thing for my wallet too! Like I said, I was planning to replace my truck next spring, but now I may not... I need to think about it.

Well now the nephew sits down to show what it looks like when a dodge is getting hauled by a ford and how nice that camper looks on a FORD Thought I would rub it in a little! But I don't want to say much because it is a ford and I don't want to be next.
