He said that it could also be a sticky valve or a broken valve spring...

Not likely for a broken spring. Oil wouldn't help the compression. Same for a sticky valve. I had a Ford 360 that broke BOTH the intake and exhaust on the same cylinder and it would only run on four cylinders. Never did figure out how that happened. Running good when shut off and next start it was running on four.......

They are tearing it down now, found #5 & #7 cylinder, low on compression. Hopefully, the valves are burned.

A bad head gasket can cause that, but I am still concerned about the compression rising with the oil being squirted in. You never did check the compression in number 5, did you?
