Post Retired oilman

Hello all ,

Just wanted to say I retired from a list of oil companies, most changes were due to merger.
1st was Skelly Oil Co. , Next thru merger was Getty Refining & Marketing
Next was Texaco Oil Co sometimes know as Texaco Refining & Marketing .
Lastly again thru merger was Chevron .
Just so everyone knows I DO NOT have a agenda to convert anyone from one brand of oil to another.
I will talk about how to choose oils based on oil specs and base oil types , hope to not be too technical.
I was a member on Moparman 1973 and enjoyed the discussions on oils there , They were civil , since his site is closing I wanted to offer my knowledge in other forums.

You are certainly welcome to discuss things here! I hope to keep the 'family' together as much as we can to keep things going like they are Michael's site! Feel free to jump right in and post away!
