thanks, now that winter is working it's way in, I need to find an English wheel and start to get going on finishing the roof so I can get on the doors. My goal is to have the cab pretty much ready for mock up in late spring/early summer. I'll keep this thread refreshed as things move forward.

That's one tool I have seen, but never used. I know that when you are good with one you can make some amazing things!

Had to look english wheel up on the internet. I know it by other names, or I guess their nicknames.
Never hear it called an English Wheel, but then I've had very little contact with one, in fact, seen one used twice in my life.

Looks great! Is it just the way it looks on camera or was your welder set a little hot for the tacks?

I have a MillerMatic 220V that I had set to the low end of 16GA...didn't seem to be to bad...but I'm a relative novice.

Ah, yea, I know how it is to be not so experienced......... I wish I was a better welder. You are taking on a much larger project that most of us would! By the time you are done you will be great at it!
