Thank you Yabbadoo.

I have not come across a GM G56. I have been focusing on G56 AE's used primarily behind the 6.7L Cummins and some late '06's and early '07 5.9L. The OD ratio .74 vs .79 in the earlier AD's. The NV4500HD I have seen both .73 and .75. I want to keep close to that. I don't like the 1K RPM drops between some gears especially when towing with the NV4500. It will bolt up the engine adapter(may need a starter spacer, I don't have definite answer on that one yet) and the transfer case, the shifter hole will line up too. The transmission mount will need to made. Driveshaft length adjusted and reverse switch plug. Clutch Hydro's will work from what I have found.

The console has worked out very well. I did have a issue with the mounting bolts coming loose but I used Loctite on them and so far so good. I added a cell phone holder, which I like very much. The holder uses a solid aluminum rod which was 20" long and I cut off about 6 inches to get the height where I wanted it. I use the GPS on it often and the holder is steady which makes it easy to read. Next I added a 12v power outlet, 2 USB chargers and a Volt gauge. It was PITA to install with the console in the vehicle though. I did not want to remove it because there is a lot of wiring to remove. It has its own fuse in the fuse panel in the console and it is turned on and off with the master switch. I use it to charge the phone and I have an IPod that stays in the truck to listen to music. I use the USB for charging that.

It looks good, but, isn't the volt meter a little hard to read?

Yes it is. It was a package deal and I figure if I have issues with something not charging I can quickly check to make sure I have power. It is not something I am going to look at all the time so I was not too concerned about it.
