Default Question about my Ford Crown Victoria

Recently my 1999 Ford Crown Victoria was in the shop for repairs. Over the last two years I replaced the Tires, Brakes, Shocks, Four Wheel Alignment, Sway Bar Links, Rear air Bags, Battery, Alternator, Intake Manifold, Spark Plugs and Spark Plug Energy Packs, and switched to Synthetic Oil. The car runs like a clock except for the steering. The Mechanic says the steering is tight and the Tires are wearing evenly with no vibration, but while driving the car will gradually pull to the right or left. Could the problem be the Idler Arm or Idler Arm Bushings?

Is it a slight pull when it does it ?

Roads are design to angle where the rain rolls off the road. In my area, there is quite a bit of rain and ice concerns. So the angle is more than the average. Could this be what you're feeling ?

That could also be a lack of caster in the front wheels. Caster is the rear facing angle from the lower ball joint to the upper joint. The more angle the more the wheels want to go straight. Without enough it will wander just a bit. This site explains it better than I can: http://yospeed.com/wheel-alignment-e...er-caster-toe/

Not suggesting it isn't a posibility, but if it is, the caster anglement, should a new shop be considered for a 2nd opinion ?
Maybe I need a 2nd cup of coffee today, but isn't that one of many items verified for correctness with a proper alignment ?

I hope he has better luck than I did. I had my truck in four different alignment shops in twelve months and no one of them even got the steering wheel straight.
