Default Dodge Cummins 12V Valve Springs

It has occured to me that I have no idea what stock Cummins 12v springs are. I know the aftermarket for 4000rpm is 60#, but what is stock?

According to Hamilton http://cobbsdieselperformance.com/i-...e-springs.html
Quote:
Stock 24v springs allow the intake valve to blow open at 50psi. on the bench. This is a major problem and it is intensified as temperatures and rpm increase.

Stock springs are 35 lb. So you were right, if you averaged them

Yes, when NEW, but they do loose there strength/memory over time and 200,000+ miles, I have a spring tester, but i dont have any cummins springs laying around to check right now.

ISX, have you found out the psi of the valve springs yet? Also, do you know what they are for a 24v and the CR series?
