Default Dodge Cummins 24 V Valve Lash

Dodge Cummins 24 V Valve Lash Specifications.

note:
If measured valve lash falls within these
specifications, no adjustment/reset is necessary.
Engine operation within these ranges has no adverse
affect on performance, emissions, fuel economy or
level of engine noise.

But shifting back to the valve adjustment. ISX is running a tight setup now and seems to do really good for performance.

That is from the service manual that can be downloaded. I always set them at .010 intake and .020 exhaust.

I am running it at 8 intake 15 exhaust. The turbo lag is next to none, in fact I think I can beat a HY for lag. I was pulling our 4k lb TT up hills I used to have to downshift on because I was only doing 45mph (tight corners), but it had so much boost that I could actually lug it at 1350RPM/45mph in 5th up the same hills. It's incredible. Not good for the 5th gear nut, but I couldn't help myself lol.
