Default FASS pump/fuel mileage

Well I have the FASS pump now a little over 2 months. I did notice as the weather has been getting warmer, my fuel mileage is outstanding! 21.3 the last time I fueled up, that's mostly hi way driving. 70 MPH@ 2,000 RPM's no faster than that. I did notice a little difference in mileage, after installing the FASS pump, maybe a mile to the gallon. I feel 21.3 is good! We went to Ohio over the long weekend, but I didn't take The Big Daddy. We rode along with my son Rob and his family in his Path Finder. Had a great time in Portage Lakes area (Akron) very nice.

21.3 mpg is quite good! Where you went was just a little ways south of where I grew up!

Tom, that's cool! Very nice area, my daughter-in-laws Dad lives 2 blocks off the lakes. I even cut a 12" tree down for him so he has a better veiw of the lake. It took about a half hour to cut it down, cut it up, and stack it. Everyone gave a hand after we cut everything up. He was happier than a pig in ----. From my son's house to Portage Lakes 5 hours 15 minutes, 310 miles, traffic was good both ways. It does get a little congested at the tool boths, other than that it was considered a very good commute.

That is a pretty good commute! It has been a few years since I was on the roads you mention. Have they fixed up any of them yet?

Default Commute

The PA turnpike is a little better in spots, it has 3 lanes here and there. I guess we just lucked out with traffic not being heavy. Looks like you're in Minnesota, I went to Minneapolis back in 2000. I drove there, it took me 15 hours and 45 minutes, 1,050 miles from where I live. I went to Thermo King for a 2 week training course for the reefers. Loved it! What brought you to Mn?

My family used to vacation on the north shore of Lake Superior (had a sister living there). I decided I liked the area and moved here 32 years ago!
