Default RV275's in a H.O. engine?

Will RV275's for a Cummins S.O. Bosch VP 44 engine work in a Cummins H.O. Bosch VP44 engine, or do I need to get special ones made?

As far as I know the RV275s will work. They have been known to even increase mileage a little too (provided you drive decent!!).

Since I have the H.O., and the pistons are shaped differently than the S.O., and the spray pattern of the stock injectors may be different, would they work? Or do I need to see about purchasing something made for the H.O.?

I found this on another site:
Quote:
Pistons and valves are identical in HO and SO. The only difference is programing and the size of the piston cooling jets. All 5.9's have piston cooling jets, but the HO's have larger ones. I am not sure anyone has ever been effected by having the smaller jets.
So you can run the RV275s. Isn't that what Mopar1973man runs?

Yes you can run them in an HO but honestly for the price Id just buy a set of quality injectors for the same money. Let me know if you need contact info for my injector guy.

Used to run them on my truck a couple years ago. Worked just fine. (Got a H.O.)
