chaaaching

most hot shotters take the box off to save weight so they usually end up buying a cab/chassis 4500 or 5500. IMO this truck would be good for the guy who pulls a big race trailer or a HUGE 5er all over the country.

I dont pull a race trailer or a 5er but I sure wouldnt mind having the option in my driveway!!

Also see its got the 6.7 305HP model not the "pickup" 350 HP model..They use the 305 model in the cab and chassis trucks..

It is based on the 5500 series trucks, but what is that 'thing' between the box and the cab?

That could be it, but at $4.199 a gallon, it would cost just shy of $700 to fill that thing! Wow. I remember when diesel was $.259 per gallon......but that was a long time ago......

I saw that truck in person at the Mid America Truck show this year. Very nice truck in my opinion. And yes that space between box and cab is the aux fuel tank.

Also, if they are going to make a long haul truck, why not convert the back seat into a legal sleeping area, I know that a lot of the hotshotters sleep in there truck, but in a lot of states that's not legal because it's not large enough width wise to be considered a legal sleeping area.
