Hmmm that's quite interesting, I wonder why they claim they are great traction and have good steering response if they are a trailer tire not a truck tire. . .

I just got a 03 with factory Aluminum rims and need one or two more, but have found more steel ones available. Should I ditch the idea of getting the aluminum and just get 5 factory steels? I know steel will bend before anything else...

Doesn't the '03 have 17 inch wheels? I thought they weren't as prone to cracking. Anyhow, you can get steel wheels if you want, it all depends on what you want to do. You can also occasionally find newer aluminum rims for sale too.

Yea, the 03 has 17"... some are 7.5" wide, some are 8". Mine are 7.5. I didn't think the size had anything to do with if they would crack or not... I've got one that has a deep gouge and the lip is chewed up and the center cap is destroyed. the spare is just a steel stamped... I figured if I was going to get one, I might as well get two (one for spare)... then most guys only want to sell the set of 4, but not if they are just going to crack. I'm not as thrilled with steel but if they last longer...

I have a set of 17" on mine that came off of an '06. So far I have not had any issues at all with them. Once in a while you may even find a junkyard with some.
