Well I think they are as good as they are gonna get. I didn't know you had to take the whole intake plate off. So I got it off, valve covers off, injectors out lol. I get carried away once I start going. I noticed there was NO instructions on the internet whatsoever for taking the grids out. I was trying to find them since I couldn't believe I had to take the whole plate off. I got at least 20 pics relating to it though so I will make a writeup.

Why did you pull the injectors to get the grid heater out?

Because they looked at me wrong. I took the intake plate off and said woww, look at all the room, so I took the valve covers off and said wowww... Then I decided to take the return lines off completely (never taken them completely off) and said wowwww lol. Then I took the injectors out to see how dirty they were. I am going to take the fuel pump off too and go through it for reasons I am unsure of.

Replacing the grid heaters on a Dodge Cummins. This is how I did it.

So did you ohm out the heaters now that you know everything is clean connection wise?

Not sure why this didn't show as a new post. That thing was 0.3-0.2 no matter where I tested it. I guess it is just going to have to stay like that. Those things were tough to figure out. I spent a long time trying to figure out how they go in and come out. After you figure it out it is simple but mannnn lol.
