Not to get off topic, but now that I think of it, it was last fall the last time I had talked to him. That was over on ComancheClub.com.

I found a thread on cumminsforum about dually swaps. Only look at that site cause its got lots of pics.

Neat fancy Texas style build including dualie swap on a 2wd.

I cannot find the dang thread I was looking at the other day on my phone. O well.

Pretty sure it is just adapters in the front. Well thats all I can tell from the junkyard trips I do.

Anyone got a pic of a 2nd gen Dodge Quad Cab Short Bed (QCSB) dually.

That is what I was thinking. There are also spacers available for the rear axle too. Take a look at this site: http://www.ezaccessory.com/8_Lug_Whe...pters_s/47.htm

You need the factory style front hub extenders and set of six dually wheels and dually spacers for the rear. Then whatever you'd like for fender flare's.

I did do the swap with Drew. His 2005/ mine 2003.Eight hours total with the axle change. The axles are different lengths, close but not wanting to mess with adapters we swapped them also. It was easier than I imagined.
On cummins forum you usually find someone who wants to do it.....I would swap with someone before I cut my fenders for the dually addition....

If this is something I would tackle, I would use mega dually fenders. No cutting.
