The Caravan is what my wife drives so maybe she can get better mileage than what I get out of my truck instead of the other way around!!

Problem with gas burners is the simple fact that the engine computer tries to hold the fuel mixture rate at 14.3:1 ratio all the time by looking at the various sensors and calulating what amount of fuel is require to hold that value. So lie the 96 Dodge 1500 even coasting I'm flowing a good rate of fuel max MPG I can get is about 35-40 MPG coasting. But with the diesel you can shut down the injection pump completely and stop fuel flow.

I know the newer vehicles now can cut fuel completely during coasting to aid in the MPG battle but this is only for the newer vehicle with the software changes that can cut fuel.

This is very true. Mine has helped me get mid 50mpg (hand calculated for the whole tank) out of my jetta tdi. It makes a big difference in how you drive when you can see everything that's going on.

That's why a 12V blows... No computer to hook up to...
Tom you need to update to 24V...

Which I know will never happen...

Tell me again how much I need a VP$$ to fail and why am I getting BETTER fuel mileage than MOST of the computer controlled vehicles for the same time frame.....
