Update,

Around 18mpg towing my 10k car trailer with a LWB 88 Jeep Comanche. Mostly 60mph but around 100 miles of 80mph. I was thrilled. Total trip was around 550 miles.

I wish I got that kind of mileage when I pull my fiver. The bad thing is weight does not seem to matter as much with these trucks, but wind resistance will kill your mileage.....

I just pulled my 5th wheel form Columbia Tn to West Des Moine Iowa. Kept my speed at 65 or less. Mostly 65 and got 11.35 mpg. That is at 23K and with new rv275's. Previously without rv's and running 70 to 75 mph I was getting 9.5 mpg. I dont know how much is th rv's or the speed but I like the results.

More speed than anything else. Pulling mine (17k gvw) at 55 MPH I can get about 14 mpg, 60 mph about 12 mpg and 70 mph about 10 mpg. That was before I started running propane, so I am real curious what it will be now.

I'm about like MnTom for mileage but bit lighter in the trailer (8,000#).

I screwed the numbers up..... They should be 60, 65, & 70 respectively... Either way, just a few miles per hour can make a big difference in mileage.

The last time that I pulled 10k at 75 mph, I got 15 mpg with propane.
