Hopefully the stars align this summer and I can get my 32' gooseneck. Going with a low pro for the wind resistance reason.

My 5th wheel is just under 13' tall and like pulling a sail down the road. I am sure the lower speed helped alot with the milage. i would like to think the RV's helped too.

That is about how tall mine is too. Speed does make a huge difference, but you are right, the RV275s probably did help a little.

Well summer is coming and diesel fuel price are falling sharply. Down from $4.609 to $4.139 now. Gasoline is slightly up to $3.909 so it now time for me to switch back over to the diesel and get ready for pulling trailers again. Just got to wait for the high country snow to leave and the fire up the chain saw... (Log truck)

Yes, old thread but I thought I would update it for anyone searching for details.
Truck has 3.73 gears as per the build sheet. (2003 3500 auto srw)

3:73 gears are pretty close to 3:54, but there are times when I would rather have the taller gears, but not as tall as 4:10. The 3:73 should be a good all around ratio.
