Another mileage update...... 672 miles on this last tank (B20) with 180 miles (approx) towing my fiver and I put 29.01 gallons of B20 back in. That only comes out to about 23 mpg.... I also used about 12 gallons of propane to do that too.

The first thing Rogan needs to do is get a good tranny in his truck. After that I would make sure you don't have a brake dragging then look into enhancing the engine performance. The first about 100HP can be had in acouple of hours and no cash!!

You're right about that.

It'll coast forever, so I don't think anything is dragging.
Engine performance is plenty, for now. 4" TBE, BHAF, #100 plate, full-forward, 35psi. Whether or not that's anywhere near 100hp is beyond me. Truck is a 215 pump 12V.

About the only other thing that might help is setting the timing at about 15 to 16 degrees (if it is not there already). Maybe you could find a decent 47RH?

I don't mean to clog up your awesome propane thread with my crap, but I've not had the timing done yet, so I don't know if it is in spec or what.
I'm hoping to get that done soon, but I feel my 47re and/or the TC issues are 90% of my poor economy.
