Default 2002 with 98-99HD steering retrofit question

I got all my 98-99HD parts on the way. Is there a way to add a steering dampiner to this setup? Is it needed? Please explain how and why.

Yes, there is a way to add a steering damper to the HD set up. I could take a picture of my daughter's damper to show you how it is mounted.

Please do. I think I got an idea but a pic would be great. Would a new one be worth it if mine is still in ok shape?

I don't know what a new one costs, so I don't know if it would be worth it. They are primarily for going off road from what I understand. They are not much more than a shock absorber for the steering to assist with not having the wheel yanked out of your hand when you come up against something (like a rock). I will go get a picture for you.

I got two pictures for you. They are both ends of the damper (I figured you knew what the middle looked like!!). The damper is on the right side of the truck.
