With the set up I had on my 02 it was but for the average daily driver honestly no. If you have a manual tranny I would say it could be more help than if one has an auto.

Hm, now you have me wondering if I need one. My truck has always had a little shake that none of the others seem to...

Hey Tom, ya should find out if the 12 valves use the same as a 24 valve. I will be replacing mine with a fluidamper once I get my truck back from Chris. The one I have on it is in good shape. Had just replaced it not long ago.

I think they are they same. What are you looking to get out of it?

Not trying to be stupid (I come by that naturally), but what are they worth new? I honestly don't know. Maybe when I get home I will have a better internet connection and can look it up.....
Next question... Will a 24V balancer work on a 12 valve?

Well, it looks like a 24V won't work very well. The 24 valve doesn't have the groove that I would need for the crank sensor. Oh well.......
