Default Going to have to do some repairs, Dodge Cummins

Well my A/C worked like it has for the last 11 years Friday & Monday it blew hot all the way to work so I checked the pressures when I got back home 10psi on the low side 10psi on the high side so I put 1 can of freon in 23 psi with clutch engaged 70psi when it clicked off so I think I have a leak since it only took a week for it to leak down to 10psi again so I inspected the evaporator core it has black crude caked all over it thanks to no cabin air filter I will be replacing the evaporator core along with the heater core since I also have notice the anti freeze is disappearing guess it is leaking from the heater core last winter I could smell anti freeze with the heater on also will be adding a intake air vent filter from Genos so I don't have to do this again. I will take lots of pictures along the way & post when I'm finished. Owe & Thanks Mopar1973Man for the videos you have on your site.

Merf, Hopefully soon we will have a place for helpful posts like that! Posts like that are what we need to accumulate. Anyone know of somebody capable of writing good service type articles for the Chevy and Ford trucks?

Ok so here are the pictures from my adventure as I mentioned it took 6 hours for me to complete with no help my friend was an electric impact it made the job go very quick. I followed Moparmans video to the T I had one extra bolt above the ground strap to the heater core and I had no extras when I finished.
I chose to do all the under hood removal first. Battery ground cables, Intake, heater core hoses, A/C lines, A/C dryer, Computer, 4 bolts threw the firewall.
On to the inside I started with glove box, kick panel, cup holders around stick shift, vacuum line quick disconnect, dropped the steering wheel, removed 3 nuts & 1 bolt holding the air box to the dash on the passenger side threw the glove box, loosened the 2 bolts holding the dash, then took out the screws on top of dash at the windshield I left 1 screw in till I had my ratchet strap on the grab bar took out screw lifted dash, slid the air box out, dissembled the air box replaced heater core & evaporator core & then reversed the process till everything was back together.

Your welcome
I pulled a vacuum on the A/C & recharged the A/C last night & on the drive in this morning I had to turn the A/C to normal cool & on low & it was so cold just like when the truck was brand new.

Houston we have a problem my passenger side floor mat is full of antifreeze it has only been 13 months since I replaced the heater core I think the swivels on the heater core are leaking If I can get to it I'm going cut the heater core lines just behind the swivels & run the heater hoses to the heater core. When I was bypassing the heater core I noticed the heater core lines felt very loose you can turn them with your hand that shouldn't happen so I think the swivel connections have come lose. I will update ya'll on what I find I'm just mad

HM. Not good. Hey, I was looking at your pictures and saw no swivel fittings. Can you get some pictures of them?
