Is there a for sure way to find out?
You won't be able to hear any noise if the fuel system is sucking in any air. You MAY see a little damp spot by a fitting if it is allowing a slight amount of air in, but not likely. So, no, there is no sure fire way to find out where there might be a leak, but what you would need to do is check each fitting for integrity.

The only way I know how to check for a leak is park nose down for a few days, then see if it will start. Look for wets/damp spots everywhere, also having cardboard underneath the truck will let you see leaks better because you are startign with a clean slate.

Then the next thing to do is park the truck nose up, cardboard underneath, and see if you find any leaks, or if it takes forever to start, then you have at least a starting place to look for air leaks.

Check all fittings that you have put on to make sure that they are tight and well sealed.

When doing this, make sure that you have a full fuel tank, as it will help find possible leaks.
