Well here is a movie showing what it all looks like. Had to put it back on the truck.

Yep, that is the same thing that is on mine and the same one that I changed on NikkiMn's truck.

After putting it all back together, I had a squeak. Same sound as the belts make when you turn the truck off (if only mine did that ) but it was at the same rate as the lift pump and increased with RPM. It only seemed to do it around idle with the engine warm.

Today I pulled it all back out and pulled that plunger thing out (the thing that rides the cam in the engine) and put a thin layer of grease on it and put it back together. It is smooth as silk now, I think even the faint ticking is gone. There were wear marks on the shaft so it obviously needed more lube. I think lubing them every 50k would keep them in tip top shape. It only takes 10-15 min to get it off.

Yes, put a different pump on and now have 18psi at idle and 14psi at 75mph.

I hate to tell you that giving 3psi of pressure is NOT working! The lift pump should be giving you 15 psi at idle and no less than 10 psi at WOT. If it has been that way long you will be replacing your VP$$ soon.
