Finally got my high idle kit so I could get pictures out for people...

OK, so explain what the settings mean and do. Soon as you can you should get the info out so that it can be ordered!

Modes...

OFF - Everything is completely stock normal.

MPG - Fools the IAT temperature to 143*F to aid in MPG gains. Cold air tends to add excessive timing to the VP44 engine which in turn pulls the MPG's down. LED will light to remind you that MPG mode is selected and remind you to turn off when your shut down. Other than that grid heaters are cancelled.

6 CYL - Fools the IAT and ECT sensor into starting 6 cylinder high idle mode and holding as long as the switch is in this position. If you start 6 cylinder and then flip to OFF or MPG mode it will continue 6 cylinder till 170*F and cancel automatically.

3 CYL - Fools only the IAT sensor so 3 cylinder high idle mode starts but doesn't fool the ECT sensor. So this prevent the possibility fo overheating on heavy fuelled trucks.

Once any mode is started then it continues till completed. If you select 6 cylinder and the select 3 cylinder it will jump to 3 cylinder but there is no way to return to 6 cylinder till you shut down the engine for about 30-60 seconds.

Oh I forgot the high idle must be done on the truck first to even use this mod...

Here is how to check and see if the flash has been done...
