CONGRATULATIONS!! You figured it out! That has to make you feel better. Probably the best thing to do is contact Maxtorq. He will take care of you and your truck. Just be sure to keep us informed as to what you are going to do. Maybe you could do a write up and win a gift card too!

wwAnother place you can check for transmission parts is Goerends. www.goerend.com They used to build trannies (I have one and so does my daughter) but now they have shops around the country build them. They may have someone close to you that may be able to assist you.

Sorry it's been awhile since last post guys, well, talked with a few so called expert tranny shops and alignment shops, one shop that builds (at) transmissions said to disconnect front drive line to see if the dw would stop, it still did it. I had mentioned the od and he stated if that was the case, the truck would shake at the rear not the front. The alignment shop that said that they were an expert on fixing the prob. on the 95 and 96's asked me to drive it down to them (2+ hours)
and that they would check it out. I kindly told him that I would make the trip and pay for parts and labor if he would put in writing with a signed warranty. You guessed it, NO. I can't just can't seem to pay 650.00 to a tranny shop just to have a look at it. I've been driving the truck since new and tried to avoid the mph that causes it. What I will do is replace my rancho shocks with a new set of monomaxes( just in case), wait till my almost new tires wear out and get new rims and tires and tear into the tranny myself

I think in this case you will have to call me. This way I can ask a few questions to get a feel for the problem.

Default Wander

I'm struggling with wander... +/- 1" in the steering wheel. I'm runnning the OEM optional tire size it came with when I bought it new. I had the 3rd Gen track bar upgrade done. Still wandering.
However, I had the stamped plate under the rear axle rust out allowing the axle to walk forward & back under power / backing on the throttle. Lucky I didn't lose the axle. I got that fixed, not I'm back to the +/- 1" of wander. It wasn't like this new.

**I'm wanting to get the steering wheel shaft lower bushing checked as a possible failure. That's where I am.
