Default 2014 Ram 3500

Got to do some add-ons to a 2014 Ram 3500 the other day. 2" leveling kit with upgraded shocks all the way around. 20" wheels and 35" tires. Blacked out lights. Going to be doing more in the near future. These trucks have really changed. The entire front end is different and now the cross member under the oil pan is so large not sure a oil filter can be changed from underneath. Really link the new drag link set up. Not only are the steering components huge, but also very user friendly for adjustments. Only down fall I see is they brought back the right front axle splitter like the second gen's have. This one is fully electronic(no vacuum) but the truck is slow to go into 4x4 compared to the always locked front end's. The new dash and some other new changes make this guy want a new truck again!

Sharp looking truck! Maybe Ram is getting the message that they need to quit cutting corners and make a 'real' truck again?

I've owned the Dodge, Chev, and a Ford. I work on all of them all the time. And in my personal opinion the 2010 and newer Dodge is the nicest most comfortable truck on the market. The third gens, well I'd taken a d-max over one any day. But the 4th gens are awesome and keep getting nicer.

I'm excited to hear they brought back the front axle disconnect. I really really like the 2 lo kit option and the full time 4wd systems dont allow for such an addition. Something I thought about when pondering whether or not I wanted to splurge for a new truck. Maybe there will be 2 lo kit available for the new axle designs soon.
